港大感染及傳染病中心總監何栢良表示,澳門政府公布了當地7宗新型肺炎病例的病毒檢測結果,5名病人的糞便呈陽性,代表著一種風險,就是病毒可經糞便傳播。
何栢良在本台節目『年禧年代』表示,澳門其中一名確診者,5個鼻咽拭子樣本結果都是陰性,但4個糞便樣本就有3個陽性,因此如果病人有腹瀉,除了檢驗鼻咽樣本,還要檢驗糞便樣本,本港亦應檢討檢測的做法。
何栢良又說,糞便存有病毒是重要發現,市民除了準備口罩,亦千萬不要忽略廁所衛生,要確保U型渠有足夠儲水,公用廁所亦要加強清潔,市民到公廁最好自備紙巾,沖廁前要蓋好廁板。

由於新型肺炎肆虐, 本苑採取以下措施, 直至另行通知
- 取消農曆新年慶祝活動
盤菜,舞獅,切燒豬,抽獎等活動將全部取消,盤菜已交費用可向管理處申請安排退款 - 暫停會所服務
會所全面關閉,所有興趣班暫停,已繳交之興趣班、健身室套票等費用可向管理處申請安排退款 - 加強屋苑衛生清潔
- 屋苑所有工作人員 (包括清潔、保安及管理處) 於當值時必須要配戴口罩;
- 於1月17日起,加強升降機按鈕以及大門的門把清潔,至少每兩小時消毒一次;
- 各座頭及管理處擺放「納米滅菌噴霧」及酒精搓手液供業戶及訪客清潔'
- 於2樓大堂設置噴灑稀釋漂白水的消毒地氈;
- 已聯絡承辦商,萬一屋苑出現確診個案,數小時內進行全屋苑深層消毒,包括消毒藥水(NICE-Crystal Sanitizer)拭抹全大及各層牆身、地台、升降機門及內籠、後樓梯扶手,空調風口 (外面)。並會噴焗空調氣糟作全面消毒。(相關費用約40萬)
- 屋苑會議安排
暫停使用法團房進行會議,常務會及承辦商會議會改以其他形式商討事務 - 屋苑滲漏工程
根據衛生部門的資料顯示,新型冠狀病毒可經糞便傳播,故此屋苑污水渠滲漏工作刻不容緩。暫時知有以下區間的渠道滲漏(包括廚廁),管理處已發信聯絡相關業戶,明白農曆年較難安排師傅維修,惟涉及公眾利益,敬希及早完成維修

- 平台公用部份的渠道滲漏,農曆年後管理處儘早修復
- 3座3-14 樓 G室 及4座15-26 樓D室已進行廁所污水渠維修,預期2月中完成

According to the latest expert comment, stool is able to spread virus. Please make sure sufficient water in U-shaped gas barrier, and enhance cleansing of public toilet. The public should bring own tissue to public toilet and cover toilet prior flushing.

Due to recently Coronavirus in Hong Kong, The Pinnacle take the following emergency measures until further notice :
- Lunar New Year Event
All Lunar New Year Event on 8 Feb will be cancelled. Management Office will handle refund with relevant parties. - Club House
All Classes and whole Club House were closed. Management Office will handle refund with relevant parties. - Enhanced Hygiene Measures
- All staff included Management Office, Cleansing and Security has to wear face mask during on duty.
- The panel in lift and the door handle disinfected once per TWO hours since 17 Jan.
- Automatic Hand Sanitizer Dispenser placed in Management Office and Lift Lobby.
- Spray diluted bleach on the carpet at 2nd floor lift lobby.
- Have contacted Cleansing Contractor to arrange emergency sterilization procedure for The Pinnacle within hours by NICE-Crystal Sanitizer and full gear personal protection equipment, in case there is confirmed case within estate. This emergency measures will cost around 400 thousand dollars.
- Arrangement of Owners’ Corporation Regular Meeting
The meeting between Owners’ Corporation, Management Office and Contractor will be avoided as possible and proceed in the other mean. - Estate Pipe Leakage work
Up to now Management Office knowing there are some leakage of foul sewer in the zones within the estate as listed, Management Office has notified the relevant owner to fix the issue. Hope the works will be completed as soon as possible.

- Regarding the leakage of public pipe in podium, Management Office will fix it in soonest after Chinese New Year.
- Besides, the works of foul sewer for Block 3, Low Zone 3-14 Floor, Unit G & Block 4, Low-mid Zone 15-26 Floor, Unit D are under progress and propose to be completed around mid of Feb.
